This was construction of a mixed use development, consisting of basement car parking, 8,500ft of a ground floor retail unit (J Sainsburys) and 38 residential units sited over the retail unit, which composed of 4 storeys of a Reinforced Concrete Frame. The project was complicated due to its proximity to Network Rail Lines and also allowing permanent access to Network Rail for maintenance purposes. The retail development was successfully handed over to J Sainsbury under partial possession arrangements 2 weeks earlier than scheduled.
